14th Week - Sunday (130408) Bicycle Repair

I went to the bicycle shop in the afternoon today to repair my bicycle. The nut on my left brake came off last Friday while I was cycling to work and my left brake was gone! It was really too dangerous considering the road I'm cycling on goes in and out of the pederstrain pathway and onto the main road. And when it rains, it will be even more dangerous and I don't wanna hit another passer-by again. Haha...

Eventually, other than the brake wire, I had to change my front tire and install 6 pieces of metal rods on my rear tire frame as my bike was really in a bad shape after 3 months of intensive cycling. Hehe...

In the end, the total cost was 4000yen but it was money well spent as safety is the most important! With this freshening program done, I can now cycle even further and with a peace of mind... =)
