14th Week - Saturday (120408) Baseball Game

Went to watch a baseball game with my colleagues and this was the first time in my life to watch a live game. Baseball is the most popular sport in Japan and soccer is next. The baseball stadium is just a 10 minutes walk from my apartment.

Today's match features Hiroshima Carps v.s. ChuuNichi Dragons (Nagoya Team). The atmosphere is electrifying with half the stadium dressed in red and white (Carp's Shirt Colour) and shouting and singing in Japanese (Different from Singapore soccer matches' shouting...)

And coupled with the stadium's small size, we really get a good close-up view of the players...

I witnessed 3 home runs (2 from Carps and 1 from Dragons) but the ball didn't land in our sector. Haha... In the end, Hiroshima Carps won the match 3-1 and everyone was singing the Home Song to celebrate the victory... :)
