皆さんは お元気ですか？Happy Lunar New Year!!! This year is the Year of the Rat which is MY YEAR and I'm missing it... Have to wait for another 12 years to come again!!! haha...
Chinese New Year Eve
It's pretty much the same here. Working till the normal evening hours. Tried to think of something to do in the evening. There's no chinatown in Hiroshima. Only Yokohama and Kobe throughout the whole of Japan has it. If I'm in Tokyo, I'll definitely take the shinkansen to Yokohama! But too bad, I'm so far off from these 2 cities, no chance to visit there. Then I thought of watching a movie. But after checking the timings, majority of the cinemas' last show were at 6pm plus! Can you believe it? And anyway, the ticket prices are more than 1200yen, which is out of my daily budget, so it's off... Therefore, I just cycled back home as usual, ate my dinner and watched a soccer match between Japan and Thailand, which Japan eventually won 4-1. Then I went to sleep after a long studying day in the office and woke up at 11 plus to send some e-mails and watched a movie on my laptop before going to sleep again...
Chinese New Year DAY
The first thing in the morning, I received a morning call from Claire wishing me Gong Xi Fa Cai. This is one of the few times that she actually called me. Usually I will call her to make sure she's out of bed and this time round, due to the "late night movie", I can't wake up. Haha... But after that, life's the same in the office, no mood at all. I don even feel anything special and just work as usual...
Then after work, I rushed back home cause the postman will deliver the bank atm card to my house. When I opened the bank account a few weeks ago, I only received a bankbook. The lady said they will send the card to my house in 2 weeks time. And last week, since I was working, they dropped a notice in my letterbox saying I have to collect at the post office. And when I checked it out with my colleagues, my sup helped me call the post office to deliver to my apartment from 7-9pm today. But when I reached home just now, it was 7.40pm and I received a note saying they came at 7.29pm! Sianz... So I just switched on the TV and ate my dinner until 8.45pm, the postman called my room! Lucky sia!!! Hence I went down , signed and finally have my own atm card!!! Now is just the internet that is the only thing outstanding...
