There's nothing much to do in the office today because of the CNY break for other countries. And since next Monday is a national holiday, called Kenkoku-kinen-no-hi (National Foundation Day), we decided to plan ourselves some activities. I told Claire about cycling to the zoo, called Asa Zoo, which is 15km away from the city centre on Sunday and on Monday cycle to Miyajima as I read from the net that there is a oyster festival on that day. So we went to find and print out the map for the zoo and check out the prices for entrance fees, ferry services and so on... Hopefully, both of us will be free for those 2 days and the weather is good and we should start our cycling as early as 7am. Haha!
Just before work ends, my sup told me he will be having his off-in-lieu tmr and instructed me to read online training materials. When I saw the contents, I'm very happy as it was related to my course of study and also a lot of other things which is in my area of interest that my school doesn't cover. I remembered last time asking my prof about the limited scope of our contents and he told me the school is compressing everything in 4 years. So there's no way to include all relevant mechanical courses in it. Therefore, given this golden opportunity, I shall make full use of it and "mug" the whole day in office tmr, provided no one calls me up... :)
After work, I went to the Internet Cafe to type this post up as I'm fed up with the connectivity in my room as well as the chill winds blowing into my room. Hehe... After that, I went to attend my weekly Dan Shibu meeting...
