16th Week - Monday to Friday (210408 - 250408) Week before Golden Week

This week was particularly busy in the office, with new assignments and follow-up actions to be done. Also this week's temperature is warmer, with the temp not dropping below 10 degrees. The afternoon sun is just as sunny as Singapore now, the only difference being there is cold wind... This is the most enjoyable period or season of the year according to most of my colleagues... And some of them started to wear short sleeves shirts to work already! :)

Other than work, I am also busy coordinating my stay in Kansai during Golden Week. Golden Week is one of the 3 one week long vacation in Japan (The other 2 being the year end Christmas week and the summer vacation in August). There are a few special occasions that make up this week long hols:

29/4: Showa Day (former Emperor Showa's Birthday)
3/5: Constitution Memorial Day
4/5: Greenery Day
5/5: Children's Day (Japanese Boys' Festival)

But our company has stretched the holidays consecutively and it will be 10 days straight of hols this year! Yeah! :)

Finally confirmed everything on Friday, just in the nick of time and this is my schedule:

26/4 - 27/4: Kyoto Prefecture
28/4 - 30/4: Hyogo Prefecture
1/5 - 4/5: Osaka Prefecture

I'm taking my colleague's car up to Kyoto in 2 hours' time (Japan time 3am) and I haven't sleep at all! Haha... The reason for going off in the wee hours is because there's a 30% discount for the highway toll charges. So my colleague wanna capitalise on this and here we go! Hehe...

We shall stay together in Kyoto for the weekend before we spilt on Monday as they go Tokyo and I wander off to Hyogo. Sounds exciting ne... =)
I will visit Himeji (姫路) and Kobe (神戸) from Monday to Wednesday before heading off to Osaka to meet up with my other friends from Thursday to Sunday. Hopefully there's still bus ticket left from Osaka to Hiroshima, as I asked my 'jap sister' to help me buy in Osaka... :) I hope I can visit the Kaikans and join in the meetings if there are any during the period I am there...

Alright, shall stop writing now and off to double-check my items for my trip! Will be back in one and a half weeks time to update. Cya!!!
