9th Week - Monday to Friday (030308 - 070308)

This whole week was simply packed with work and I basically work from morning to evening. Too tired to update anything and at the same time, the three first days has nothing much to report. Haha...

Thursday (060308) - Internet is finally up!

Received a call from Claire on Wed that Internet was finally up. But as I was too tired, I waited till Thurs to try it out. Hence when I reached home, the first thing was to try out the wireless connection and after a while, I'm connected!!! Finally!!! After close to 2 months (when we first applied for it on 12th Jan) has the Internet finally come! But 100% credit must go to Claire. Think she went to the Internet shop more than 12 times to press them for it. If not for her persistant efforts, we probably still be waiting for Internet now! Hehe...

Hence the rest of the night was spent on using the Net at its full maximum blast... :)

Friday (070308) - Mazda Museum Guided Tour

Claire and I went for the English Guided tour after lunchtime. We had to take a bus to the other side of the plant where the Musuem is located. On the whole, I was really impressed with the exhibits as it offers an insight into the things I'm interested in as well as the stuff I have been applying in my daily work. I got to appreciate even more after this tour and learned many valuable lessons about car manufacturing which we can't find in Singapore. =)

Me with MX-5 Roadster

A Walk through History

The world famous Rotary Engine...

A Walk through the making of RX-8

A down side is that the stay at each section is too short (cause the tour is divided into different sections) and I can't finish taking photos and reading the description all at the limited time.
After the tour ended, me and Claire agreed to come again in a few months time. Hehe...

The night ended with my dinner, washing of laundry and replying some e-mails before going to bed to have an early night sleep to compensate for the whole of this week.

Next Stop for Saturday: Going to a traditional town called たけはら町 outside Hiroshima City to view the dolls on display (as the past Monday was Dolls Day - ひなまつり)
