10th Week - Monday to Thursday (100308 - 130308) Busy Busy Week!!!

This past week has been really really busy as there's one dateline we are rushing to finish. Basically working from 8.30am to 8.30pm (except Friday) and had numerous meetings until I also lost count of how many. Haha... This is the summary of what happened:

Monday (100308) - 2 Months Stay in Hiroshima already!!!

There's nothing much to celebrate my 2 months stay today. But one unique thing is that I started to perspire after cycling. When I reached home, I felt warm and this is the first time I opened my balcony door and I still feel hot! Haha... Think Genting is now colder than here...

Tuesday (110308) - Tiring but Memorable Day


Finally received my gate pass and entry pass in the morning. Now can don't need to sign in at the Guard House. Yeah!!!

Reached apartment at 9pm. Saw Atsu-san outside my apartment ground floor calling my room. I brought him up to my room to put my laptop bag and other stuff down and gave himself a Merlion photo! He was so happy that he asked me to sign on it and he would keep it as a souvenir. Haha... Hope he likes my little gift... :)

This time round, the meeting is not at Kotake. It was a bit far, around 15 minutes of cycle, along the direction of Eba.

Upon reaching, there was a new member but from April onwards, he's gonna live in Hyogo Prefecture and work there. In all, there were 12 YMDs who attended the meeting today and everyone shared their own stuff and I was not excluded! Think I spoke quite funnily and throughtout the meeting, they would laugh if they saw me confused with what other people are saying. Haha... In the end, they announced this week was Chiba-san and Kuroda-san's birthday. And I volunteered to sing them Happy Birthday song in chinese and they laughed. =)

After the meeting has ended, there was some snacks and I ate their home-made sushi, biscuits, tea, strawberry (it is big and sweet!) and red bean paste covered in gultinous rice wrapped with fragant leaf! I have been eating a lot of stuff with red bean today and I start to like it. (Cause in the office, my sup gave me a traditional red bean sweet and I ate red bean bread for breakfast and red bean mochi after work.) =)

We left the meeting place at 11.20pm. Atsu-san and I cycled back home, singing jap songs along the way! We have arranged to go Karaoke next month and really, today's meeting was one of the best and memorable one of all...

Wednesday (120308) - A Touching Day!!!

The weather really took a drastic change this week. The temp last week and this week was totally different! I can still shiver when I go out of office last week but from the past Monday onwards, I started to perspire as I cycle to my workplace(cause I'm wearing 3 layers, thermal, shirt and jacket). I can even leave my jacket in the office now and go out to have lunch!!!

Today's morning temp is 4 degrees at 8.15am, 18 degrees at 1.30pm and 14 degrees at 8pm.

Rushed through my project in the morning and had a meeting today till 12.30pm. But when my sup saw me eating bread for lunch, he insisted on taking me out and treating me for lunch!!! Hence we went to a 焼肉屋 and had a BBQ style lunch! We bbq our own meat and chatted things not related to work. It was an enjoyable lunch and おなかが　いぱい　です!

After lunch, since we still got time, he brought me to one of the shopping centres to visit the Hokkaido Food Fare! We tried quite a lot of different unique food samples but I forgot to bring my camera out! Think I tried raw squid, meatball covered in mochi with soup and a lot of wierd stuff that I never see before. Hope I can go there again and take some pictures. :) We walked around till 1.20pm and headed back to the office to resume our work...

After work, I rushed back to a suppa and bought 2 slices of cake and orchid for Hashimoto-san as it was his birthday today! But as I was going back, I bumped into him and he saw me holding the cake and orchid. He kept saying あやしい！haha... But I returned home first and wrote a msg to him on a birthday card and then delivered to him at 9.30pm. =) おたんじょうび　おめでとう　橋本さん！！！

Thursday (130308) - 3 more months left in Hiroshima!

Today worked from 8.30am to 9pm. Simply crazy but at the end of the day, I felt satisfied as I can also see all my colleagues smiling at the end of the day. Was rushing for a few datelines and had meetings constantly till 8pm plus. Though tiring but it's very memorable. :) Had to even turn down my colleague's offer to go out to the mart! aarrghhh...

On my way home, I was cycling through this dark patch of road and a car was driving slowly beside me. I did not notice at first but when he drove off, I realised it was my sup's car!!! Think he's trying to signal or wave goodbye but I was too focused on my cycling. Haha! Will go and ask him tomorrow morning. =)

Then went to suppa at 10pm plus and saw a lot of cooked dishes at half prices! I felt very tempted and decided to buy fried tofu and fried chicken back for dinner! =)

Given 30% then half price off after certain timing...

My half-priced dinner. Think it cost less than 300 yen. :)
