As usual, today reached office at 8.40am. Straight away went to read up my notes as there were really a lot of things to know!!!
However, during lunch, Claire and I have the opportunity to join our 2 big bosses for a brisk walk! (Cause they came over in the morning to ask us whether wanna join them!) So we started at 12.15pm and they really brisk walked!!! Me and Claire had to constantly run to catch up with them. And it doesn't help that I wore my business attire to walk with them as I was only being invited in the morning! (My toes hurt after the walk and think I will bring track shoes from tmr onwards.) The whole walk lasted 40 minutes and initially when we first started, I was shivering cause the afternoon temperature was only 7 degrees! But 20 minutes later, because of the heat generated inside my body, I feel warm and finally unzip my jacket! On the way, we walked past Hiroshima castle. (It's my first time at that place at it's really beautiful! I will take lots of pics of it the next time) But according to my boss, it is not the original castle as the A-bomb had flattened the actual one down. So sad... We also walked past the A-bomb dome, saw our apartment from far and Hondori before reaching our building. It is really an experience!!!
Around 12.55pm, we reached our office building but have not had lunch yet. (But Claire had brought her own bento). So I just went to Mister Donut shop and bought 2 donuts cause we need to be in office before 1pm. And ya, that's my lunch! (I feel as if I have not eaten even though I ate them! Aargghh, need to prepare my own lunch next time too...)
I finished work at around 7.15pm today and since we were so hungry, we decided to eat Hiroshima-yaki again to pamper ourselves!!! (But we will try other patterns..) We reached つくし at 7.45pm. (cause I went home to change as I don want my office wear to have the cooking smell) I came down with a T-shirt, shorts and slippers! I can tell you the feeling is very shiok!!! If you remain still on the streets for a minute, your legs will start to shiver, amid the smoke coming out of your mouth... I ran and rushed to the okonomiyaki shop which was at 2 small junctions away and met up with Claire, who ordered for me first.

Me and Claire posing with our different flavour okonomiyaki!!!
After the meal, the shop uncle gave each of us a complimentary bowl of traditional mochi with red bean topping! Delicious!!! Thank you uncle!!! After that, we told him and the auntie that we will be back next week! :)
Having our complimentary traditional-style mochi with red bean paste topping after our meal.
Ojisan laughed at me for wearing so little. So I decided to take a pic with him...
It's really very cold!!! Need to run back home already. Bye Bye!!!
And inside my apartment, I poured out all the notes to read until around 1am. Need to sleep early cause I got a morning meeting tmr...
