4th Week - Wednesday (300108) Blank

I was busy throughout the day in the office, from meetings in the morning to paperwork preparation in the afternoon and then meetings in the evening. I was given more and more responsibility and my workload will be piling up soon. Should be quite busy for the next few days as we are preparing to go to the next phase of development and thus staying back late might be the norm. (Hopefully, I can break away from this viscous cycle!) In the afternoon, my senior e-mailed us to meet up with other friends for dinner and I had to turn them down! Aargghhh... So with no choice, we have to postpone it to next Wed...

I left office at 7.20pm with my mind totally blank and I could not think much. Hence I decided to take another route back to explore other parts of the city centre and at the same time, relax my mind. This time, I cycled down Hondori all the way to the back of the peace museum. Along the way, the environment reminded me of the days when I was backpacking Melbourne. It looks rather similar with 2, 3 storey houses, beautifully planted trees along both sides of the road and the electric tram in the centre of the road. I thought I'm in Melbourne cycling down to St. Kilda's beach. Haha! But with the japanese road signs and so many cyclists around, I know I am in Japan. :)

I reached home at around 8.15pm, cooked my dinner, did some house stuff here and there before getting serious with my jap study again... (And comes to think of it, tomorrow will be the last day of January and I will surely miss this month! Only 4 and a half months left in Hiroshima and I must maximise my stay to the fullest and leave no regrets behind!!!)
