Having my first home-made lunch in the office!
After lunch, as I was doing my work, I noticed that it was snowing outside the building! Wow! First time witness snow in the city too! However, as the temperature was not cold enough, it just turned into water as it reached the floor. When I felt sleepy at 4 plus, I went down to see it for myself. I did not wear my jacket as I went down and the moment I stepped out of the building, it was super freezing cold! I lasted less than 5 minutes outside as my hands start to turn numb again and hurriedly went back to office. Haha...
It snowed all the way. I finished work at 6.45pm today and went to take my bicycle. But to my surprise, all the bicycles' seats are covered with ice!!! It was drizzling but instead of rain, it dropped down condensed ice. But as I do not want to be stuck in the office waiting, I just unlock my bicycle and cycle home. Although there were not so many people and cyclist along the passageway, it was just as hard to cycle. I was freezing with smoke constantly coming out of my mouth and I could not really open my eyes as the falling ice kept hitting on them. It was a torturous trip back but one trip that I will never forget. :)
It snowed the whole afternoon until the seats are covered with ice!
I stopped by a supermarket to buy some bread and the moment I stepped in, a lot of people were staring at me. I was completely wet with ice covering my jacket and my specs were foggy. Haha... I shivered to the bread corner and get 2 loaves of bread at 118 yen each and then cycled back home again. At my area, it was even colder as there were not so many buildings like in the city. Hence I saw all the cars being covered with snow and the playground circumference outside my apartment was filled with snow too! Haha!
This Toyota Harrier must be freezing. Haha...
I cooked my rice and dinner and was about to eat and then Claire reached home. She was also shivering with ice on her head. Hehe... We came up with an agreement that I would pay her 1000 yen per week and she would help me prepare lunch. Yeah! No more buying of outside food! But I need to help her wash up all the plates and cooking utensils, which I feel is fair. =) So immediately without resting, Claire went to cook some vege and meat for her dinner as well as for our lunch tmr... :)
Yeah! Finally can eat some vege! The vege here are so ex!
Wanted to take a candid shot of her but she still managed to pose. Haha!
